McKinley says farewell to Gosset
McKinley Vintners has released a statement as its three decade-long UK distribution deal with Champagne Gosset draws to a close this month.
Following the announcement that, from 1 August, Gosset will be represented in the UK by Louis Latour Agencies, Peter McKinley reflected on some “very happy times” in this long-standing partnership.
In particular, he thanked “the Gosset family who welcomed me in, and their stalwart team who made such great wine and who did so much to help me in the UK market.”
McKinley also expressed gratitude to “all the customers who have supported me and my company over all those years whilst we were putting Champagne Gosset on the UK map.“
Despite this new gap in its portfolio, McKinley Vinters continues to represent a wide range of producers from across France, as well as the likes of Cousiño Macul in Chile, Alpha Domus in New Zealand and, on the spirits side, Cognac Frapin and Snow Queen vodka.
Concluding his statement, McKinley hinted at further plans in the pipeline, saying: “I’m not going anywhere so ‘watch this space’.”
