IWSC unveils LWF masterclass line-up
The International Wine & Spirit Competition has confirmed its schedule of London Wine Fair masterclasses, which will shine a spotlight on current trends, unfamiliar regions and 2015 medal winners.

Taking place on the IWSC stand, T40, across all three days of next week’s trade fair, the masterclasses will be led by a series of high profile trade figures and regional or category specialists.
After the live IWSC judging session to find this year’s “Best in Show” wine on the morning of Monday 18 May, the stand will host a session on the rapidly evolving English sparkling wine scene by wine writer and presenter Susie Atkins.
Tuesday 19 May will start with a masterclass on the theme of “In With The New” led by former IWSC Blogger of the Year Helen McGinn, who will lead visitors through a range of wines from lesser known regions. The afternoon will see IWSC President and CEO of Australian Vintage Neil McGuigan lead guests through some of his top picks from Australia, before Neil Ridley and Joel Harrison close the day with presentation of last year’s IWSC spirits winners.
The final day of London Wine Fair starts with TV presenter Joe Wadsack showing off medal winners from Rioja, followed by a Canadian-themed tasting led by Michelle Cherutti-Kowal MW. The final masterclass for this year’s fair will be led by IWSC general manager Ewan Lacey, who will shine a spotlight on the wines from Trentino, northern Italy.
