Perrier-Jouët launches vintage collection
Perrier-Jouët has released the first series of its Art of Vintage Collection – three rare Champagnes that have been stored in its chef de cave’s cellars for up to 25 years.
With only 12 bottles of each vintage available in the UK, the collection Belle Epoque consists of three vintages: 1996, 1985 and 1982.
Available through London fine wine merchant Hedonism, the range is priced at between £333 and £621 depending on the vintage.
The cuvées have been selected by cellar master Hervé Deschamps for their “superior quality” according to the house, and include “some of the best vintages of the last 30 years”.
The launch marks the first time these particular Champagnes have been released from the Maison in Epernay.
Each bottle is accompanied by a wooden gift box, which is decorated with the Anemone flower marked in thin silk screen, along with a hot-stamped gold logo and engraved gold plates. The vintage year is highlighted on the gold plates and also on the 75cl bottle in thick gold transcripts.
