New distributor Identity Drinks to launch

Identity Drinks, a new distributor focussing on “high quality spirits brands” that are looking for rapid growth in the UK, is preparing to launch in May.

First in its portfolio are the brands under Green Box Drinks – English vodka Element 29 and Boxer gin – owned by former developmental chef and food writer Mark Hill.

The vodka is made using copper stills, copper having an atomic number of 29 on the periodic table, and has received a five-star rating by Difford’s Guide.

Boxer gin uses fresh juniper berries extracted by vapour distillation in the mountains of Nepal, as well as citrus oils cold pressed from bergamot peel.

Identity Drinks Brands, set up by Nick Rogers, is seeking complimentary brands to be considered for its portfolio.

Rodgers, who is formerly of Bibendum and Instil Drinks Co, said, “I knew the next step for me was to launch my own company and a chance meeting with Mark presented the perfect opportunity.

“I was aware of his environmentally sound refill concept already, but having seen the quality of the Element 29 vodka and Boxer Gin, not to mention the price point, I couldn’t think of any products that I wanted to work with more.”
