Drunk woman bites policeman in China

A 29-year-old woman in Heilongjiang Province has been prosecuted for biting a chunk out of a policeman’s hand during a drunken night out, reports the SCMP.

After rowing with her boyfriend, she drank three bottles of beer at a barbecue shop then went to buy some peanuts. Trouble arose when she asked to join the store owner who was drinking with some friends and subsequently refused to leave at 2am when the store closed.

The woman started smashing beer bottles and damaged a nearby car. When the police took her to a police station she started fighting with a policeman and bit a chunk of flesh from his hand. Afterwards, she passed out.

When she came round the next morning, the police informed her she would be placed under criminal arrest. She then told them to cut off a piece of flesh from her hip as compensation.
