Second Jamie’s Italian to open in HK
A second franchise of UK chef Jamie Oliver’s Italian restaurant chain, Jamie’s Italian, is to open in Hong Kong this summer.
The first restaurant opened last summer in Causeway Bay to somewhat mixed reviews but no end of interest and queues.
As reported by Asia Tatler, the second franchise will open in late May or early June this year in the Kowloon Harbour City shopping mall.
Last year saw several restaurants opened by British chefs. Aside from Jason Atherton who has been operating in Asia for some years, both Oliver and Gordon Ramsay opened venues in Hong Kong last year, Ramsay hinting at a second opening in Macau in future.
