Creme Egg burger concocted in London
A restaurant has launched an eggs-tra special burger in time for Easter which comes covered in white chocolate and filled with a gooey Cadbury creme egg filling.
The Creme Egg burger
The “Créme Egg” burger has been dreamt up by chefs at the Studio Kitchen in the K West Hotel in Shepherds Bush, London, ahead of Easter. The mini slider burgers are made from a sweet brioche bun dipped in white chocolate and sprinkled with hundreds and thousands. This is then topped with the “burger” – a gooey melted crème egg, mascarpone cream, and a good helping of strawberry jelly.
Studio Kitchen is an informal New York-styled eatery which offers a range of US style “dude food” such as green chilli cheese burger, buttermilk chicken burger and truffled Mac & Cheese, as well as a selection of modern European dishes.
The calorific novelty burger will be on offer from the end of March 2015 and throughout the spring at £5.50 a pair.
