Mercier to bring out blanc de noirs
Champagne Mercier has launched a blanc de noirs for the French market following an investment in new packaging and an expanded range by brand owner Moët.
The new Mercier cuvée will hit French shelves in April this year with a suggested retail price of €25 per bottle. It comprises 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Meunier grapes, spends 2-3 years ageing on its lees and comes with a 9g/l dosage.
The addition to the range comes soon after the unveiling of an updated look for Mercier, as well as the launch of a Brut Réserve, with almost three years lees ageing and an 11g/l dosage.
