Vinexpo unveils new features for 2015
Vinexpo’s next instalment in Bordeaux in June 2015 will include a number of new features, including an entire repositioning of the exhibition site.
Taking place from 14-18 June the show will include the usual line-up of tastings and seminars but there will also be a greater emphasis on gastronomy for the first time in the show’s 18 year history, with award-winning chefs presenting food and wine matching workshops.
“Vinexpo has a history and now we are writing its future”, comments Vinexpo’s CEO, Guillaume Deglise. “And this future begins with a series of new initiatives that we’ll be launching in 2015.”
To begin with, the exhibition spaces at Vinexpo have been repositioned so that everything now faces the lake, there will also be an area for premium wine and spirits brands at the centre of the show.
Access, booking and transport to and from the show has been improved, Bordeaux’s new tram system will link the show to the city centre with a simple 15 minute journey and a personalised booking service which allows visitors to put down their requirements and for Vinexpo to then set up targeted meetings on their behalf.
There will be new tasting areas to explore, not least Vinexpo and The Spirits Business’ collaboration “Spiritual” which debuted at Vinexpo Hong Kong this year and areas exploring rosé, sparkling and sweet wines.
