Week in pictures: Asia
Going back a little to the beginning of the month and the end of the HKTDC fair, the db team in Hong Kong got to celebrate sales director, Andrew Oliver’s birthday – with a suitable cake of course courtesy of publisher Ivy Ng.
Meursault’s François Mikulski was in town and showing his (frankly delicious) 2012 vintage at importer l’Imperatrice.
James Suckling (far left) and Michael Callahan (far right) with DFS Group’s senior management at the launch of the luxury travel retailer’s Masters of Wines and Spirits collection. Made up of rare wines, Champagnes and spirits, the collection has gone on sale at Singapore Changi airport and will remain there until 28 February next year.
db had a chance to peek inside Omtis Fine Wine’s cellar last week as well, filled with treasures from all over the fine wine world but dominated by Bordeaux.
