Top Gear to film in Okanagan
Popular UK motoring show, Top Gear, will be filming in the Canadian wine region of the Okanagan later this month.
The show will be road-testing the new Hennessy VelociRaptor SUV in the southern part of the Okanagan for a future series.
“This is awesome for the region as the show has such a huge worldwide audience, it is great exposure for our area and for producers to see the kind of scenery and locations we offer,” said Okanagan film commissioner Jon Summerland.
Top Gear attracts some 350 million viewers from 170 different countries every week.
Although not the best season in which to admire the vineyards, perhaps the region’s wine industry will get a mention?
