New offices for HK merchant
Hong Kong merchant Ginsberg+Chan has moved from Happy Valley and opened new offices in Central.
The fine wine merchants opened its new office in the Loke Yew Building on Queen’s Road Central last week in order to be closer to key clients.
Co-founder Jason Ginsberg, said: “We are really pleased to be closer to our customers in Central and one of the nicest things so far is that we get to meet and shake hands with them more easily and more frequently now.”
The new opening was celebrated with a party for various members of the press as well as clients of the merchant.
“Having been in business now for 5 years and moving in to this beautiful space is a huge milestone and we really felt like we should celebrate and share this with our supporters,” said co-founder Mandy Chan.
Guests were able to sample a selection from the portfolio, including: 2011 Pierre Yves Colin Morey Puligny Montrachet Le Trezin, 2009 Leroy Bourgogne Rouge, 2009 La Dame De Montrose, 2004 Clos du Caillou Chateauneuf du Pape Reserve and 1999 Ceretto Barolo Brunate.
A blind tasting competition from a six-litre bottle was also held and the wine later revealed to be a 1982 Duhart Milon.
