Clooney to toast wedding with Tequila
Hollywood superstar George Clooney seems to have his priorities straight when it comes to his wedding preparations, having loaded 50 cases of his Casamigos Tequila onto a plane bound for Italy where he is due to wed.
Clooney is set to tie the knot with his British-born Lebanese lawyer, Amal Alamuddin, in Venice of 27 September.
And it seems his guests will be suitably provided for on the alcohol front, with Clooney’s Casamigos co-founder and rumoured best man Rande Gerber, who is married to supermodel Cindy Crawford, seen loading 50 cases of the Tequila onto an Italy-bound plane in California, as reported by TMZ.
Clooney founded Casamigos Tequila with restaurateur Gerber in 2012.
Last year the actor starred in a steamy advert for the brand with his business partner’s supermodel wife, Cindy Crawford.
Sidney Frank Importing Company won the exclusive right to import and distribute Casamigos Tequila in the US and Caribbean in March earlier this year.
