Stags Leap District unveils 2010 collection
The Stags Leap District Winegrowers Association (SLDW) has announced the release date of its latest Appellation Collection — the only Napa wine offering comprised from a single appellation.
Line up: Last year’s Appellation Collection
This year’s compilation features one bottle of 2010 Stags Leap District-designated Cabernet Sauvignon from each of its 17 association member wineries.
The exclusive release will be made available from 15 October through to 15 December 2014 in an effort to tap into the gifting market during the holiday season.
The rare wines included in the collection are either no longer or were never available in the open market, and only 150 sets are available in total.
The 2010 Appellation Collection includes one bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon from each of the following Stags Leap District Winegrowers’ wineries: Baldacci Family Vineyards, Chimney Rock Winery, Cliff Lede Vineyards, Clos Du Val, Hartwell Vineyards, Ilsley Vineyards, Lindstrom Wines, Malk Family Vineyards, Pine Ridge Vineyards, Regusci Winery, Robinson Family Vineyards, Shafer Vineyards, Silverado Vineyards, Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, Stags’ Leap Winery, Taylor Family Vineyards, and Terlato Family Vineyards.
The 2010 Appellation Collection is priced at $1,599.00 (£950) for the 17-bottle set.
