Prince Harry spotted at Great British Beer Festival
It might not be a typically Royal day out, but that didn’t stop Prince Harry from stopping by the Great British Beer Festival yesterday for a pint or two.
Prince Harry was snapped at the five day fair yesterday
The 29-year-old arrived at Kensington’s Olympia yesterday afternoon spending around two hours visiting the festival among thousands of beer-lovers there to sample some 900 craft ales, ciders and perries.
The prince was able to mingle among the crowds going largely undetected wearing a baseball cap pulled down low, and even took part in some traditional pub games, including Shut The Box, according to the Belfast Telegraph.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, stall holder John Craye said: “I was quite tempted to say to this gentleman that he looked quite a lot like Prince Harry, but I thought quite a lot of people tell him that. I was somewhat surprised to learn after that it was indeed him.”
Ironically, the top prize in the game that thePrince and his friend took part in was a jumper with a picture of the Queen on the front.
Up to 55,000 people are expected to attend the festival over its five day run at Kensington’s Olympia, ending tomorrow.
