A drunk women stole a horse before riding it to a shop to steal beer.
Christine Saunders, 45, of Alabama, stole the horse on Saturday from outside a property in Fyffe, DeKalb County, as reported by the Gadsden Times.
The bizarre incident saw Saunders ride the horse to a nearby store where she tied it up outside and entered the store before stealing a pack of beer.
Police officers found three cans of Keystone Light beer in a Walmart bag tied to the horse’s saddle.
Saunders was later arrested and charged with public intoxication and illegal possession of a prohibited beverage.
The horse was returned to its owner, who has decided not to press charges.
