Summergate launches new gin for HK

Summergate has announced it is to be the sole importer and distributor of London No.1 gin in Hong Kong and Macau.

The first batch of the gin will be available later this month and will distributed mainly in the on-trade and selected off-trade accounts.

A quadruple distilled gin from London, No.1 is flavoured with cinnamon, angelica, bergamot and gardenia flowers the latter botanical giving the gin a bluish tint.

Gin has grown hugely in greater China in recent years, with imports doubling over the past three years alone – albeit from a small base.
