Martin Lam to lead Beautiful South talks
Former London restauranteur, Martin Lam, will be leading ‘Sommelier Talks’ at this years Wines of the Beautiful South wine fair.
Lam, formerly of Ransoms Dock, Battersea, will me mediating and hosting discussions between leading sommeliers at the second annual Wines of the Beautiful South tasting to be held at Kensington Olympia on September 10 and 11.
The Beautiful South is one of the newest additions to the London wine calendar and showcases the wines of Argentina, Chile and South Africa.
As well as providing opportunities to taste with visiting winemakers the fair will conduct blind tasting challenges for sommeliers and wine buyers to test their skills.
A new development will also see tables laid out as ‘country islands’ aimed at improving navigation and improving on last years layout.
