Around the Grounds in 14 days: Day 11

The Benevolent’s chairman, Chris Porter, shows no signs of slowing having visited a further seven football grounds yesterday after 11 days on the road.

Day 11 began at 7am with Chris making his first stop at the grounds of Leicester City FC…

… before making his was to the grounds of Peterborough UTD ground….

…before arriving in the City of Stevenage where he was greeted by a pedal-powered delegation from the Wine Society who joined him on his ride to the grounds of Stevenage FC.

After leaving the Wine Society riders, Chris arrived at the grounds of Watford FC where he was welcomed by the press office team lead by Liam who took this picture. Later in the afternoon Chris made a pitstop at the grounds of MK Dons FC, and the shared grounds of Northampton Town & Coventry City, before hopping on another train to Oxford where today’s journey began.

The challenge has so far raised more than £11,000 for the charity, which supports members of the drinks industry in need. To make a donation, click here.
