Mouton Cadet gets new UK distributor

Stevens Garnier is to be the new UK off-trade importer for the wines of Baron Philippe de Rothschild.

The wines include one of Bordeaux’s most widely sold wines, Mouton Cadet, as well as other examples from that region and the Languedoc.

Matt Douglas, head of Stevens Garnier, said: ¨We are thrilled to be associated with such an important global brand as Mouton Cadet and look forward to building quality distribution for the wines.

“Mouton Cadet is an excellent addition to our existing portfolio of world class, premium wine brands including Mateus, Sandeman, Finca Flichman, Mount Pleasant and many others.”

The on-trade distribution network for Baron Philippe de Rothschild remains unchanged.

    Kind regards

I have been given a 2002 bottle of Mouton Cadet and I would like to know if, in your opinion ,it will still be drinkable, or will the age have had deleterious effect.

    Thank you for your opinion.
