Tesco bolsters wine team
Tesco has strengthened its wine team with the appointment of Charlotte Lemoine as assistant product developer.
The role will see her work alongside Tesco wine buyer Richard McKeown to oversee the retailer’s Italian wine category.
Due to start her new post on Monday 24 February, Lemoine joins the retailer from Majestic Wine, where she has spent the last three years. Prior to this, she had worked in France and Australia as a recruitment consultant before deciding to make a career change in order to pursue her love of wine.
Welcoming Lemoine to the team, Tesco product development manager James Griswood said: “Charlotte demonstrated enthusiasm and has a sound knowledge of the wine trade, as well as a good awareness of the more commercial aspects of the industry.
“With the breadth of experience she has gained from her time working in offices in Paris and Sydney, as well as her last three years with Majestic, I’m sure Charlotte will make a strong addition to the team.”
The appointment of Lemoine brings Tesco’s wine product development team up to five as she joins Laura Jewell MW, Graham Nash, James Griswood and Lucy Clements.
