New York thief steals truck load of beer
A thirsty-thief made off with a truck full of Heineken beer while its driver was making a delivery.
The green 2005 Freightliner truck was swiped from a street in New York’s Chelsea district while its 51-year-old driver and partner were making a delivery on Monday, 3 February, according to a report by dnainfo.com.
The keys to the truck had been left hidden under the driver’s seat.
The thief got away with 11 kegs and three 24-can packs of Heineken, along with three cases of Georgi Vodka.
The vehicle, owned by Long Island-based Demon Trucking Inc, was seen on CCTV heading into The Bronx at about 2pm but has not been seen since.
An investigation is ongoing.
