Michael Cox Taittinger collection to be auctioned
A full “Taittinger Collection” of limited edition vintages that belonged to Michael Cox is to be auctioned at the Benevolent Ball this March.

The collection was donated by Michael before his death last week an is comprised of all 12 vintages that Taittinger has released over the last 35 years, each bottle featuring a design from some of the most famous names in the art world.
The bottles and other lot will be auctioned at the Benevolent’s annual ball at The Dorchester hotel on 13 March and all funds will go towards the work of the Benevolent.
The Taittinger Collection is made up of the 1978, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1985, 1986, 1988, 1990, 1992, 1998, 2000 and 2002 vintages.
Since it began in 1983 when Victor Vasarely contributed to the 1978, the collection has featured works by Roy Lichtenstein, Hans Hartung, Matta and most recently Amadou Sow.
