Super Furry Animals launch beer
Welsh band Super Furry Animals are to launch a beer at the Fire Festival next month.
Named “Fuzzy” after the psychedelic rockers’ first album “Fuzzy Logic”, the 8.5% beer has been made in partnership with the Celtic Experience Brewery and will go be available to taste at the gastronomic festival on 1 February.
According to Wales Online, the festival is a “celebration of innovative craft beer, art and smoky food.”
The beer will then be available in pubs throughout Wales and select venues in London from March.
Keyboard player, Cian Ciaran, told the site: “We’re making it with our own specially formulated recipe, although I can’t tell you what that is.”
Super Furry Animals are not the only musicians to head off into the realms of drink collaboration nor the first Welsh ones either, Goldie Lookin’ Chain launched Goldie Lookin’ Ale last year with Newport-based Tiny Rebel Brewery.
