Absolutely Cracking Wines from France winner announced
Earlier this week we ran a competition to win a mixed case of Absolutely Cracking Wines from France and today the winner has been announced.
Barry Howarth, owner of the Lancaster Wine Company, was drawn at random after he correctly answered that Gérard Basset OBE MS MW, is the French Wines with Style ambassador in the UK.
The case of 12 wines is now on its way to Lancaster and Howarth said he was very pleased with the win.
He told db: “I am very pleased to win these fantastic wines and I am looking forward to trying them in the next few weeks and to see the quality & range of the wines.”
The wines were just some of the 154 that were available at the Absolutely Cracking Wines from France tasting that took place in September.
