Lord Black to deliver WSTA conference keynote speech
The WSTA has announced that media executive Lord Black of Brentwood will deliver the keynote address at its Annual Conference on Wednesday 25 September.

As the executive director of the Telegraph Media Group, Lord Black’s speech will focus on changes the newspaper industry has undergone as it adapted to the technological age and new consumer demands.
He will also give details on his experience of the challenges that can face an industry operating under the imminent threat of new and significant regulation
WSTA chief executive Miles Beale said: “I am thrilled that we have such a high calibre of speakers at this year’s WSTA conference. Our speakers are from a range of different industries and will offer a fresh perspective on the challenges facing
our trade as well as ideas for meeting the needs of today’s consumer.”
The conference will also feature a panel discussion chaired by Simon Jack, the Today programme’s Business Editor. Joining him on the panel will be Barry Clark, Account Director of the Future Foundation, Rebecca Smart, Managing Director of Osprey Publishing and Jon White, Marketing Director at Kimberly Clark and Chair of the Executive Committee of ISBA (the voice of British Advertisers).
The conference takes place on 25 September at Bafta, 195 Piccadilly, starting at 8.45am and concluding at 12.45pm with a drinks reception, followed by lunch.
