Millar and Shaw nominated for Roederer award
The drinks business’ senior staff writer Lucy Shaw and staff writer Rupert Millar have been shortlisted for the Louis Roederer International Wine Writers’ Awards.
Both writers will fight it out to be crowned Emerging Wine Writer of the Year 2013 at the Roederer Awards.
But they face competition in the form of Palate Press scribe Evan Dawson, World of Fine Wine writer Ella Lister and Simon Wolf, editor of TheMorningClaret.com.
Also shortlisted for articles from the drinks business are Champagne specialist Michael Edwards and veteran wine writer Margaret Rand, both of whom are up for the International Wine Writer of the Year 2013 award.
The awards ceremony will take place at the Royal Academy of Arts on 10 September.
