Boutinot extends LCB contract
Boutinot and London City Bond have extended their existing contract for LCB to continue to warehouse and distribute Boutinot’s stock in the UK for a further six years.

LCB’s managing director, Alf Allington, said: “Working with Boutinot over the last four years has been both productive and most rewarding and reflects today’s style of relationship that has developed between the merchant and their logistics partner.
“Sophisticated systems operate in real time and give complete visibility at all stages of the supply chain as well as continually feeding back tailor made MI. This results in an ongoing programme of analysis, innovation, and an unceasing focus on enhancing service levels”.
In the last year, Boutinot reported that it saw “tremendous growth”, particularly in the last quarter.
It was a tricky year for the industry, with a huge amount of planning required for the Olympics and Jubilee celebrations but also a wet summer which made business patchy for the on-trade – though Boutinot reported a “substantial” increase in their business in this sector.
The company’s logistics director, Peter Smith, credited part of this success to the “outstanding service” rendered by LCB.
