Fells strengthens sales team
UK importer John E Fells has announced two major appointments to its sales team.
Taking on the role of national field sales manager is Tom Fortune, who will oversee Fells’ regional and London sales teams.
Prior to this new position at Fells, Fortune held roles at Justerini & Brooks, Hotel Du Vin, Pol Roger, Pernod Ricard and Moët Hennessy.
He is joined by Dominic Thranum, who takes up the post of regional sales manager for the south east.
Having begun his wine trade career with Oddbins, Thranum has since worked for Laytons, Matthew Clark and, most recently, Bibendum.
Commenting on these two additions to the team, Fells’ managing director Steve Moody explained: “These appointments are part of the on-going development of Fells and reflect our desire to provide a higher level of service to our regional and prestige customers.’’
Owned by Port and Douro wine producer Symington Family Estates, Fells is also the exclusive distributor for brands including Torres, Guigal, Bouchard Père & Fils, William Fèvre and Torbreck and Seifried Estate.
