Drunk tourists arrested after stealing Disney golf cart
Two beer-toting tourists have been arrested after stealing a golf cart and taking a joyride through Disney’s Boardwalk entertainment area in Florida.
Donald Rossi, 33, from New York and Micheal Kulesza, 38, from Massachusetts, have been charged with grand theft after stealing the golf cart and heading off on their drunken drive.
The pair were arrested after deputies from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office spotted the two men speeding through the entertainment area, forcing people to jump out of the way.
The Orlando Sentinel reported that that one of the deputies wrote in his report of the incident: “They were yelling, shouting, and laughing as they drove past where we were standing. They were obviously not Disney cast members.
“They rounded the corner fast enough to cause the extended golf cart to almost tip over.
“I gave immediate pursuit and caught the subjects at the back entrance to the Swan Resort.”
The report added: “The driver, holding one beer, was identified as defendant Donald Michael Rossi Jr. The passenger, holding two beers, was identified as defendant Michael Kulesza.”
The men apologised after the deputy told them to get off the golf cart and continued to say sorry on their way to jail.
The newspaper added that a restaurant employee had told deputies he parked the golf cart outside a restaurant and left it there while he was removing rubbish.
