Premium wine estates launch at LIWF
This year’s London wine fair will see the launch of a new collection of top wine estates, “Blends”.
Blends has been set up by Argentine businessman, Alejandro Bulgheroni, and Bodega Vistalba CEO, Carlos Pulenta, and features five estates from Argentina, Uruguay, Tuscany and California.
The four original wineries, including Villa Dievole and Renwood Winery, have now been joined by one of Europe’s leading Argentine wine brands, Bodega Argento.
Pulenta explained: “We have created Blends to broaden the distribution of our wines to new markets around the world. By harnessing our global connections, we are aiming to provide the best customer service in the marketplace and grow our presence in a sustainable and equitable way.
“We are looking forward to an exciting future for Blends and our family of wine estates.
“2013 marks the first vintage for Bodega Garzón in its new high-tech, sustainable winery and will see Argento produce its first wines in its new home – using grapes from its own vineyards for the very first time since its creation. With many more projects in the pipeline, we are really excited about the future.”
Blends will be exhibiting on stand I30 and will be holding a seminar entitled: “Making wines with a sense of place for the global market”, at 2.45pm on Monday 20.
