Arribar! wins Glastonbury bar contract

Arribar! – a venture from the Best Parties Ever company – has won its third hospitality contract for Glastonbury with Avalon Bars & Events, writes Olivia Bodle.

Headed by Tim Stevens, managing director of the UK’s leading Christmas party specialist, Best Parties Ever, Arribar! will again be working with the event management company operating two destination bars – ‘Rock the Kasbah’ and ‘Chameleon.’

The bars, located on the main walkway ‘Butts Lane’, will offer different experiences for festival goers throughout the five days. Open from 10am until 2am, ‘Rock the Kasbah’ will see revellers enter through Moroccan gates into a Kasbah-like space with authentic music and Moroccan style cushion seating for up to 250.

‘Chameleon’ will open from 11am through to 3am each day. With ‘intelligent’ lighting that changes colour to create different moods, this bar will have seating for up to 120 people in the day time and food will be served between 12pm and 9pm. At night the seating will be removed and the bar will take on a club atmosphere, complete with live DJ, playing mainstream music from 11pm to 3am.
