The show, featuring actress Myolie Wu (pictured), includes actors from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Mainland China.

Described as an “idol drama”, actress Li Sheng plays Lin Xuan, a middle-class worker who travels to Shenzhen in search of her boyfriend Zhao Xi, played by Mao Zijun.

Arriving in Shenzhen, she discovers that her boyfriend and Shen Yiman (Myolie Wu), the only daughter of a prominent wine tycoon, are engaged.

Problems ensue when Xuan unwillingly gets involved in a winery dealership conflict between Yiman and her stepmother, Dan Li, played by Joy Pan.

Yiman’s younger cousin, Shen Zihao (played by Roy Chiu), pulls some strings to help get Xuan a job at the family château.

Produced by Cai Meifang and directed by Chang Hsiao Ching, a broadcasting date has yet to be announced for the 40-episode show.

Idol dramas commonly use the most popular young actors in the Taiwanese entertainment industry.

Aimed at viewers in their 20s, the idol drama phenomenon started with Meteor Garden in 2001.
