Neil McGuigan of McGuigan Wines and celebrity chef John Torode launched their food and wine matching recipe collection this week in the sumptuous surroundings of 29 Portland Pace in Regent’s Park, where db couldn’t resist snapping this stunning chandelier.
During the lunch, Masterchef presenter John Torode gave a cookery demonstration, showing guests how to make his mustard beef wellington.
In signature Dom Pérignon style, chef de cave Richard Geoffroy chose to launch the latest vintage of Dom Pérignon Rosé – 2002 – at Leighton House in Holland Park. The former home of Pre Raphaelite painter Frederic Leighton, the hallway boasts turquoise tiles, chandeliers and water features.

Fresh from the official launch in Istanbul, DP’s chef de cave Richard Geoffroy introduced his latest rosé vintage – 2002 – in the Moorish hallway of Leighton House, describing it as “the dark jewel” of Dom Pérignon.

Aubert de Villaine is in the house: arriving at Corney & Barrow’s London offices to taste the 2010 vintage of Domaine de Romanée Conti, db spotted the unmistakeable hat and coat of the estate’s co-owner.
