Bulldog Gin seals Italian deal
Bulldog London Dry Gin has signed a deal with Illva Saronno for distribution throughout Italy, effective immediately.
Illva Saronno owns DiSaronno Amaretto, Artic Vodka and Tia Maria and is one of the dominant players in the Italian market.
Claudio Giuliano, senior brand manager with Illva Saronno told the Press Association: “We are very excited to have an iconic super-premium brand like Bulldog in our portfolio.
“The addition of Bulldog, one of the world’s fastest growing premium gins, is a complementary fit to our premium portfolio and we look forward to building and positioning the brand at the top of the Italian market.”
The partnership with Illva Saronno leaves Bulldog in a strong position to capture a share of the growing premium gin market in Italy.
Bulldog’s founder and CEO, Anshuman Vohra said: “Bulldog is super-premium, authentic, extremely high quality and emotionally appealing to discerning consumers around the world.
“We are excited to partner with a leading player with such a storied history and of such high caliber. This partnership fits within our global expansion strategy and will ensure that Bulldog continues to cement its rightful place as a leader in the global premium gin scene.”
Since launching in North America in 2007 and in Western Europe in 2009, Bulldog Gin has grown quickly in those areas as well as in South America and parts of Asia.
Handcrafted in England, Bulldog is quadruple distilled in traditional copper pot stills and is infused with a blend of 12 botanicals from eight countries.
