Perrier-Jouët launched its Belle Epoque Florale Edition at the Harvey Nichols Fifth Floor Bar. This limited edition version of Perrier-Jouët’s special cuvée, Belle Epoque, was crafted by Japanese artist Makoto Azuma. It is the first time the bottle design has been changed since the anemone bottle was created by Emile Gallé in 1902.

Azuma said: “I wanted to make something extraordinary, taking inspiration from the sensation of Champagne inside the mouth, and the delicate movement of the ivy and leaves with special attention and tribute given to Emile Gallé’s anemones.”
db headed over to Old Street this week for speakeasy cocktail bar the Nightjar’s second birthday party, where the Clover Club cocktails were flowing and live music from the Red Roosters kept revellers entertained until the small hours.
We also found time to check out hot new Peruvian restaurant Lima London in Fitzrovia, where manager Juan tempted us into trying their signature Cuento del Diabolo cocktail containing chilli-infused pisco, Cointreau, strawberry and lime.
Staying for a bite, Lima London’s painterly plates brightened up a cold winter night, especially this rainbow-like dish crafted from crab, purple corn reduction, red kiwicha and huayro potatoes grown at 4,000 metres above sea level.
