Petaluma to build new winery
Australia’s Petaluma is to build a new winery in the Adelaide Hills in time for the 2015 vintage as the lease on its current site comes to an end.

Its existing winery is located in the Piccadilly Valley alongside Chardonnay vineyards planted by Petaluma founder Brian Croser.
The new site, located at Woodside in the Lofty Ranges of Adelaide Hills, is said to have stunning views of the rolling hills and vineyards of the region.
Planning is underway to build the winery, which will be constructed on a greenfield site, and the first Petaluma vintage at the new operation is expected to be 2015.
“We have always known we would eventually move to a new home and the Petaluma team is delighted to have found such a perfect location,” said Andrew Hardy, Petaluma’s senior winemaker.
