Krug and Mendes plan ‘Institute of Happiness’
Krug has announced a partnership with Viajante chef Nuno Mendes, which will see the Champagne house host “The Krug Institute of Happiness” this December.
85 Swains Lane: Krug’s “Institute of Happiness”
Guests taking part in this £220 per head experience will be transported to 85 Swains Lane, a striking glass-clad house designed by John Winter, which overlooks Highgate Cemetery in London.
Here Mendes and his team will serve a four course “happiness themed menu”, which will see each dish paired with and inspired by Krug Champagne.
From place settings to scents, music, and the menu’s endorphin-releasing ingredients, every element of this experience has been designed “to cement Krug’s reputation for craftsmanship though creating a moment of happiness for each guest, as well as focusing on uncompromising quality.”
This UK instalment of the Krug Institute of Happiness will run from 5-9 December, with booking due to open in early November via the website www.kruginstituteofhappiness.com
