A vertical tasting of Les Forts de Latour with Jean Garandeau, commercial director of Château Latour, took attendees of the Fine and Rare Specialist course back to 1990, before finishing with a taste of Château Latour 2009.

David Peppercorn MW inspects the sediment in a bottle of 1962 Haut-Brion after a First Growth tasting at the Palais Coburg in Vienna, where he and Serena Sutcliffe MW presented a range of wines, including 1990 Château Lafite-Rothschild and 1986 Château Latour, as part of the Fine and Rare Specialist course.

Anthony Hanson MW, head of Christie¹s wine department and Burgundy expert, presents the past and present-day happenings at the Hospices de Beaune charity auction, which Christie¹s has handled since 2005 following fears the local wine trade were forcing barrel prices too low. His lecture was also part of the Fine and Rare Specialist course at the Palais Coburg.
