W Hotels plans massive US revamp
W Hotels Worldwide has unveiled plans to “reinvigorate” 10 of its hotels across the US and Canada.
Over the next 18 months, renovations such as new bars and restaurants, bedroom makeovers and “cutting-edge updates to public spaces” will take place.
The principal hotels to undergo this makeover will be some of the original hotels in New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago, San Francisco, San Diego, Dallas and New Orleans.
The hotel chain has apparently hired “some of the industry’s brightest rising visionaries” to help with the redesign, which is worth US$100 million.
