Galvin to unveil half million makeover
Galvin at Windows is set to reopen next week following a £500,000 renovation in time for London’s Jubilee and Olympic celebrations.
Boasting “some of the most spectacular views of London”, the bar on the 28th floor of the London Hilton Park Lane overlooks Hyde Park but closed its doors early last month to embark on this redesign.
Due to unveil its makeover on Monday 21 May, Galvin at Windows is promising “a new, sophisticated design concept.” The revamp features a circular bar, designed to capture the light, as part of a remodelled layout, which the venue claims “will offer maximum versatility allowing guests to capture the stunning views.
The bar is also introducing a new 1930s-inspired cocktail list, compiled by bar manager Marco Ercolano, as well as a Champagne list which includes six listings by the glass.
Meanwhile head chef Andre Garrett has refreshed the bar snack menu, which will feature Galvin’s famous burger with vanilla onions alongside dishes such as potted shrimp with crab salad, avocado and confit lemon.
It would be nice to know redesigned the restaurant?
