PLB plans UK roadshow
PLB will be showing off its revamped wholesale range with the launch of a regional roadshow tasting series this February.
Having spent the last year expanding and reviewing its selection, the company’s revised wholesale portfolio now features 350 wines, most of which are exclusive to the on-trade and speciality retail sectors.
The roadshow will involve three tastings around the UK: Leeds on 21 February, London on 22 February and Bristol on 28 February.
The PLB team will be joined on the tour by representatives from a number of its producers, including Vergelegen in South Africa, Montes and Viña Ventisquero in Chile, Bodegas Ochoa in Navarra and McWilliams in Australia.
Adam Wyartt, head of wholesale strategy at PLB, explained the initiative, saying: “After listening to what our customers want and what our suppliers can give, we’ve significantly revamped our wholesale portfolio and we want to shout about it!
“We are very proud of our evolved range which has new lines, new producers and a much broader offering – from carefully selected entry-level price fighters that are essential in the current financial climate, to premium wines both classic and niche.”
