Marblehead to end Zubrówka distribution
Marblehead has announced an end to its 13-year partnership with Polish flavoured vodka brand Zubrówka.
The company has said that its distribution deal will come to an end on 1 July this year, however it said it had been “delighted” with the partnership, which has seen the vodka grow to 25,000 cases in the UK – making it the brand’s second biggest export market.
Dave Steward, business development director, said: “It has been a pleasure and a privilege working with the brand and with owners, CEDC in Poland.
“There is no doubt that Zubrówka is now an iconic brand in the UK and has built a loyal following of drinkers who enjoy its premium quality, rich heritage and distinctive taste. Zubrówka has a great future.
“Marblehead is entering a new phase of development. We have a strategic partnership with Proximo in the UK working on the fast-growing brand Kraken Spiced Rum and are developing a portfolio of wholly-owned brands including Davna Czeri Vodka and Skipper Rum.”
