Casino restaurant to offer 24-hour London life
Palm Beach Casino in London has announced the opening of the Palm Beach Bar & Kitchen.
The restaurant and bar overlooks the Mayfair casino’s main gambling floor, taking advantage of the 2005 relaxation of UK gambling laws, which allowed casinos to open for non-members.
Describing itself as a venue to serve the “24/7 lifestyle of contemporary London”, the club is open 24 hours a day and boasts food service from 7.30am to 4am. The drinks list offer includes “fusion” cocktails and a selection of Champagnes.
A breakfast menu aims to reflect London’s multicultural tastes, serving everything from smoked salmon with scrambled eggs to dim sum.
Executive chef, Marienne Johnson, has divided the main menu into four sections: Indian, Middle Eastern, Modern International and Chinese cuisines.
The venue’s cosmopolitan clientele can chose from dishes ranging from Chinese Tom Yum soup to Indian Tikka Jalfrezi or Middle Eastern Palm Beach Meshwi Mashakal.
For those who prefer a more traditional English option, the restaurant serves afternoon tea everyday with an option to upgrade to Champagne.
The late night menu specialises in seafood platters alongside a selection of European and Asian-influenced dishes.
The casino has also announced there will be a DJ performing in the bar every week from Thursday to Saturday, while a heated smoking terrace will be open at all times.
