Holly Valance to front Foster’s launch

Holly Valance has signed up to be the face of Foster’s Gold.

The Australian actress will front the launch campaign for the new premium bottled lager, which will see her join the Foster’s “beach blokes” Brad and Dan in a multi-million pound TV and print advertising campaign.

The campaign will continue with the Foster’s “Good Call” theme and is designed to show Foster’s Gold as being perfect for when you want to impress on a night out.

Valance made her breakthrough in Australian soap opera Neighbours in 1999 and since then has entered the music world, with her first single Kiss Kiss reaching number one in 2002.

Foster’s Gold is designed to appeal to men drinking at a range of events events, from formal parties to summer barbecues.

Valance said: “It is with great pride that I’m working with such an iconic Australian brand, and it helps that I’m a loyal beer-drinking Aussie girl myself.”

Foster’s Gold is described as a 4.8% abv easier-drinking premium bottled lager.

It is available in supermarkets and off-licences nationwide from this month and the new TV advertising featuring Valance will be live from the end of August.
