Cloudy Bay lays on Michelin pop-up
This summer marks the return of the Cloudy Bay Shack to Parsons Green in London.
The pop-up airstream will be pairing wines from the New Zealand brand’s range with a special menu created by Michelin-starred chef Skye Gyngell of Petersham Nurseries.
The menu, which is partly inspired by Gyngell’s passion for foraging, will see sea trout, crème fraiche and bruschetta matched with Cloudy Bay Te Koko, while slow cooked veal with black olives and preserved lemons will be accompanied by Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir. Each of the five dishes can be ordered with a glass of its chosen wine match for £8.50.
The foraging theme will continue in the picnic area, where guests can forage their own edible treats in the herb garden inspired by Petersham Nurseries. As with the musical backdrop provided last year, a jazz trio will play throughout the weekend.
The Shack will be open on 30 and 31July, while Petersham Nurseries will be offering the Cloudy Bay pairings in its café throughout August.
