Vic and Bob reunite for Fosters
Foster’s is looking to capitalise on the success of its recent Alan Partridge internet series by reuniting comedy legends Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer in a new online series to launch on 4 July this summer.
Famous for their madcap comedy stylings, Reeves and Mortimer are set to hit computer screens with a new series of original sketches that will air on weekdays from 4-29 July exclusively on the Foster’s comedy website www.fostersfunny.co.uk.
Each episode of the new series – entitled “Vic and Bob’s Afternoon Delights” – will see the comics introduce a group of never-seen-before characters to surprise their fans.
Gayle Harrison, marketing manager for Foster’s at Heineken UK, said: “We are genuinely excited by the prospect of a collaboration between Foster’s and the unique comic phenomenon that has made Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer two of Britain’s most admired comedy actors over the last two decades.
“The new partnership will enhance Foster’s reputation as a facilitator of top comedy and we know our core brand audience will enjoy seeing Vic and Bob unearth more precious ‘comedy gold’ moments in the new series.”
The Foster’s tie up with the duo follows last year’s premiere of Alan Partridge’s “Mid Morning Matters” on Foster’s Funny, which attracted over three million hits.
