Fulham gets the Brazilian touch
Rodizio Rico, the London-based Brazilian “churrascaria de rodizio†or “rotating barbequeâ€, has opened a new branch in Fulham, complete with an alfresco Caipirinha Bar.
With no formal menu, a team of “passadors†simply move between tables passing slices of roasted meat from skewers onto diners’ plates for a fixed price. The selection includes pork ribs, chicken breast wrapped in bacon, chicken wings, leg of lamb, a variety of beef cuts and specialities such as chicken hearts.
In addition to the barbequed meats, diners can also choose from a table of traditional Brazilian dishes, from feijoada, a pork and bean stew, to pao de queljo, a gooey cheese bread. The table also carries a selection of salads, pasta, potato and rice dishes.
Those with space for pudding can choose from the options on the dessert trolley or order hot pineapple from the grill.
Rodizio Rico serves a range of draught beers, spirits, wines weighted towards South America and cocktails, including Brazil’s most famous drink, the Caipirinha.
In addition to this latest Fulham branch, the chain has venues at the O2 arena, Islington and Westbourne Grove.
