Top Dozen from Australia
Australia’s First Families of Wine (AFFW) will be holding two tastings on Tuesday 17 May – the first day of the London Wine Fair (LIWF) – with particular emphasis on how the producers look after their land.
On Tuesday, the AFFW will hold an open pour tasting between 10am and 1pm for members of the on- and off-trades. All the wines that will be on offer are either new to the market or considered icon wines from the producers.
Moving seamlessly from one tasting to the other, at 2pm and again at 3.30pm Sarah Ahmed will conduct a “Walkabout speed tasting” of the 12 estates in the AFFW with the opportunity to talk to the producers afterwards.
Both tastings will be held in the South Gallery Waterfront Room 8. For further information contact Alice Josselyn at Westbury Communications on alice.josselyn@westburycom.co.uk or +44 (0) 208 682 9020
