Great Western Wines expands range
Bath-based independent wine merchant Great Western Wine is launching an expanded wine range, wine shop and website in time for Easter.
The company, which recently joined forces with Enotria, has increased its selection considerably, to bring together the best wines from both ranges.
“We’re thrilled to be taking on so many great new wines,” said Great Western Wines manager Alan Nordberg.
“Most of Enotria’s range had previously only been available in restaurants, but now we have the opportunity to offer these brilliant wines to local wine lovers in our Bath shop, and the rest of the UK online,” Nordberg added.
Around 500 new wines will join the established range, including wines from premium brands Henschke, Trimbach and Planeta, creating a combined range of over 1,000 wines.
The launch will be accompanied by special offers and events, with visits from winemakers from Italy, South Africa, Argentina and Australia, and a major tasting of a number of the new wines in the range on 16 and 17 April at the shop.
